The Fiery-Tide is a medium sized Solar System located somewhere in the Spore universe. It gets its name from its collosal red sun, which has a distinctive flaming ring around it.

[edit] The Torgrim Sun
The Torgrim sun is one of the largest stars in the Spore Universe. It is unique because of its "Ring", an astronomical phenomena usually found wrapped around Gas Planets. Torgrims ring is made up of billions of specks of flaming dried lava and cooling lava, and is a humbling sight for all who witness its destructive bueaty. The ring was created after an explosion occured inside the suns core. This sent massive ripples through the star, pushing waves of lava into space, where they got caught in Torgrims gravitional pull and over the millenia cooled and formed a glowing red ring.

Orbiting Torgrim are Five reasonably small planets. In order of shortest distance from the sun to longest they are;

An extremely small rock planet. Too hot and poisonous for any life to ever possibly exist on it. One Moon, Zan, an uninhabitable wasteland.

An Earth sized planet. Too hot for a living being to survive on it for more than 24 Earth hours. No moons.

A Mars sized planet. Home to extremely intelligent life form, the Zbug as well as many other phylums. Considerably warmer than Earth, with a 48 hour day and very little rain. One moon, Tendryl. Home to several mildly intelligent phylums.

A medium sized gas planet. Two moons, Van and Hex. Hex is home to many species of flying creatures, none of which are sapient.

A medium sized rock planet. Slightly too cold to hold life. No moons.
