Pondas are highly adapt to any enviroment on Zyyy, they are called pondas because they have evolved Indents like pools on the top of each of the sections that fill up with water, the water then drains down the tree trunk Into big bulbarious things all over the roots, and the "Master Bulb" the biggest one which Is directly below the trunk.
It always uses the small pools of water first and the middle one Is kept full (unless of emergency) to atracked animals to drink and eat the fruit so the seeds may be passed on.
the tree Is very concious...It doesn't have a brain but It can communicate through low pitch grumbling noises, It can remember and (no one knows how) but can see It's surrounding as If It had eyes...whether this Is to do with echo location or something simmilar Is unknown.
They have become friends with many species especially the Zyyo and the Swingers (creatures that look Identical to monkeys Just with 2 tails and 4 arms and 4 eyes)
The Leaves make an umbrella like shape which hangs over quite a lot to shade animals and as It has so many leaves It soaks up more sun light.
The trees vary In size some are huge and have main ponds that are 30+ foot each way (those ones are humongosly tall) And the smallest main ponds are 8x8 foot.
The fruit on the trees are like a combination of Kiwi fuits and apples, They taste like kiwi fuits and are soft on the inside but the outside Is edible Just like an apple but Is green Instead of the furry brown, also they are a lot larger than both fruit...much bigger, when found In deserts they're like mini oasises.
Most of them seem as Is they have grown above the ground but actually that would be when animals have dug a small bit under them to shelter In.
The shape (as shown In the pics) Is a single wide trunk which goes up so far and splits Into any number between 4 and 8, Inbetween In the gap Is where the main pond Is, then the other smaller trunk like peices go up and again split Into 4-8 pieces and the small ponds are In there.
when all the bulbs are full the water stays In the ponds unless they over flow, If that happens the water runs down little ditches all the way down the tree to soak the ground so even If the bulbs are full It drinks.
