[edit] The Creatos

The Creatos live on Planet Coreos, a mostly underwater planet. Once, due to a food shortage, the beings had 2 options, move to deep water and evolve strength but degenerate brains, or stay in shallow water. Eventually, the species was split, the ones staying in shallow water remaining known as Creatos, the others becoming the Coren-Creatos. The Creatos eventually developed an "artificial seabed", meaning they could travel the planet's oceans in waters deeper than 25 feet. The seabed has many points where it ruptured and is being constantly repaired, but it allows protection from many of the fierce underwater creatures, including their cousins.

The Creatos eventually evolved into 3 types, the standard, the soldier, and the enchanced.

The Standard walk on 6 legs, have two large claws (which can split into a grabber), and well developed antenae. The legs, claws, and antenae can be used for grabbing, but they are not phenominal at holding. With help from the enchanced Creatos and using the legs, pincers, and antennae in combination, they can be quite dexterous. They can perform almost any job, and are a bit above human intelligence level.

[edit] The Soldier Creatos

Template:CreatureCreationInfobox The Soldiers often guard groups of seabed repairers, deep sea food scavengers, and explorers. Although not as strong as most deep sea creatures, they have the benefit of greater intelligence. Although a solo Soldier is not very effective, they are deadly in groups. They are bigger than Standard Creatos, and have a similar body build, except they are especially dextrious with their legs and have a 4th pair, often used for weapons or tools. They can bound on all 8 legs for great rams of speed and power, or can temporarily keep their balance on two, using the other 6 arms, the antennae, and pincers, allowing them to attack the enemy powerfully and many times, at the expense of temporary lack of mobility. They are much bigger and stronger than standard Creatos, but are still quite peaceful, and their claws are razor sharp.

[edit] The Enhanced Creatos

Template:CreatureCreationInfobox Although all Creatos are intelligent, the Enchanced Creatos carry out the tasks requiring the most sophistication, intelligence, diplomacy, or dexterity. The are essentially humanoid crabs, walking on two legs, having small, maneuverable claws, and 2 other pairs of arms, one of which can be leaned back on. These creatures often play the role of scientist, engineer, diplomat, judge, governing official, etc. These Creatos are the best at learning other languages and are often uses as greeters and translators. They are also most comfortable on land, as aqua helmets can fit over their heads easily.
