[edit] Physical Description
Although humanoid, Ceratoids resemble the ceratopsian dinosaurs of Earth. The two major subspecies are the triceratons and the styracodons. They are all broad in body, almost as wide as they are tall, with thick, strong limbs. A large bony frill extends upwards from the head, and they have a short thick tail. Triceratons have three horns, one on the nose and one above each eye. The styracodons have only one horn on the nose and their frill sports several spikes. Both subspecies can use the nose horn as a weapon.
Type: Warm-blooded Terrestrial Humanoid
Government: Republic. Ceratoids no longer have a homeworld, their civilization resides of asteroids terraformed to support their race.
Defenses: Thick hide, horns
Tools: Human-like hands, three fingers and one thumb
Reproduction: Egg-laying, incubation period 55-60 terran days. No specific season or time at which they can lay eggs.
Senses: Similar to terrans, exceptional vision in dusk or twilight conditions.
