[edit] The Cam'u'lop

   The name is pronounced KAM-ul-OPE, but the creature bears no resemblance to either a camal or a melon.  Nay, This is a creature quite closely related to turtles and totoises.  All species have an armored head, a long neck, a broad body with a Carapace (shell, like a turtle's), powerful legs, and short arms and tail.  They eat mainly plant matter, and spread seeds all over the planet Nimvutuu.
   Cam'u'lops were domesticated early in Tree-hopper histoy as a way to pull land-based carts.  They were also ridden into battle, their vunerable neck plated.  When one was killed, its carapace was often used to make a sheild or part of a boat.

   There are 3 prominent species of the Cam'u'lop on Nimvutuu.  They are U'uhren, Re're, and Henth.

   Long considered the first discovered camalope because of the fact that the inhabitants of Baru'nuun used these to make the first pull-carts.  This species is found all over, even cross-breeding with the Re're species.  They are most known for their heavily plated head and tail that sticks straight out behind them.
