Tanarus Nebula, the nova planet. It is a spherical planet with constant ion storms and dangerous predators. The known intelligent inhabatants are the blight. They hunt in packs, and bring their prey back to their underground cave to share with their young.

[edit] Abilities

The abilities of the blight are complex, they have the ability to Bite into the prey's head, and input a worm or "node" into its central nervous system, the node is controlled directly by the Blight. The "node" stops all body functions as it attaches to the target's brain, turning the target into a "Blighted". The node stops nearly all bodily function and concequently the body begins to decay and become a "zombie". The mindless zombie will become a slave to the blight's will and become agressive, subconsioslky being controlled by the blight leader. The Blight can rejeuvinate these worms in a specail sac in their throats, and it is injected via the Blights hollow tongue. The blight controlling the zombie will also have his sight, control of communication, and access to 43% of the target's body . The second ability; rarely found and who ever has it is revered and exalted, is flight. The only Blight who have it are the eldars. They control all the blight by telekenecis, the blight will follow all the elder's commands as they are the next step in the Blight's evolution.

The Blight are a race of biologically advanced dominators of the Tanarus Nebula. They enslave all the races in the Nebula and devour all who oppose them. They have heightened sences, acid spit and circular mouthes that expand to devour it's prey. The females reproduce by laying eggs. The eggs hatch as an eight legged 6'8 predator and devour prey and eat it until they have enough DeoNucleic Acid(DNA for you kids)to spin a cocoon and hatch 2-8 months later.
