Austa Minor is one of the most well-known planets in the galaxy; if you're just stopping by for a drink, you will find yourself on a night out and wake up the next day underneath a barstool. Maybe you're just buying some books; the Austa Minor Printing Press has published over 118 bestsellers, if someone wants their novels to be well-known around the galaxy, printed in several different languages and have a film made about it, here's the place to go. It is known for its exotic food and drinks, and the entire planet has had a rainforest planet over it.
Unfortunately, the weather seems always to be rainy or stormy, but the rain is always warm and just makes the planet even more compelling.
The eastern hemisphere can be compared with Las Vegas and Hollywood, assuming you can find an agent willing to invest in you, and a movie that needs another actor, you are almost certain to get rich here.

When the scourge started to attack, the SDLA was formed, with its HQ here, in Austa Minor, the amazing amount of casino losers and failed actors made a great source of labour, and some of the galaxy's greatest (in that area anyway) weapons were designed and made here.
When the war ended, Austa Minor was one of the profiteer planets, and got rich off of weapons they sold to the mafia.

In truth, Austa Minor was founded as a trade center; originally it had no life or atmosphere, so there is no "dominant" race. This means a lot of multi-cultural communities, and a lot of languagial and religional disputes happen.
