An intelligent but cruel creatures that live in dark areas where prey is abudent, sometimes they live in burrows laced with webbing to detect enimies or nearby prey, they have the uniuqe ability to emit a smell to attract mates or lure small or large herbivores, they can also chase their prey and spit a sticky webbing to prevent escape and bites into the capture creature sevral times to inject venom, or build a web to catch flying prey. They have a hard exoskeleton that protects it from other predators.

the males go for the buy dinner first otherwise they'll be eaten before the mating commenced the males hunt down and coccon the prey , and the males bring it to the females location to see which animal the female likes, if she likes what the male has brought her she'll agree to mate if not... well lets just say you dont want to be in the males posistion right about now, and leave it at that. They lay about 3 to 6 eggs, no predator dose not dare go near an arachnions nest, after they hatch they stay with the mother for protection until their third moult and the hatchlings explore with the mothers supervison until the fourth moult.

In the past they live a solitary life, but as they progress they have small families which ruled by one female, as they progress even further it becomes a fully fledged empire which is ruled by a large but mobile empress or emperor.
