[edit] Former Glory
Akimasa's former glory was when it was just a simple Goldilocks Planet with pure, fresh water. It used to be that way until a company of dumkopfs dumped their toxicated sludge into the water. The moment it hit, the sea's bacteria mutated. The bacteria began to form bigger colonies, all the while the company continued to sludge dump illegally. Soon, the planet was nothing but a huge bacteria colony entirely covered by greenish protoplasm. It also created some unlikely new inhabitants: the megaloworm, Tyrannid Virus, and the sea itself!
[edit] Sludge Sea
The Sludge Sea. Seen in orbit it looks like a huge peaceful grassland supporting life. But upon closer looks, the description gets abit loco. The peaceful grassland seen in space is actually a green sea covered entirely by protoplasm. Here dwells the burrowing megaloworms and the contagious Tyrannid Virus. But, we're forgetting one thing: THE SEA IS ALIVE!! There had been reports of the sea's surface opening up to shoot out hundreds of long tendrils and pulling passing scout ships down before closing up to look normal again. There was a video footage of a passing sampler probe passing by a particular spot where it showed the sea opening and in a blur, the ship was gone. This reveals that the Sludge Sea is like a giant hidden predator. (Sounds abit like Alien Planet doesn't it?)
[edit] No Colonists
Due to its toxicated areas, Akimasa is not colonized and is left neutral.
